Today was Jordan and Zach's first day back to school. And this is Jordan's first year over at the middle school. I don't think they consider them middle schoolers yet, but the fifth grade is over in Lytton so there is more space for the PreK thru 4th. They also have three preschool classes in the elementary, that is where Riley will go for her preschool. Jordan gets to ride the bus everyday now to get over to Lytton and he thinks that is really cool. I'm sure that excitement will wear off soon enough. I am kind of happy school is back on, it gives the kids something to fill their time with now. Towards the end of their summer, they were very bored and so now they can't say that anymore. Not only will school take up their time, but football will as well.
I will be curious to find out how the high school kids are able to park at the high school tomorrow. The whole west side parking lot is under water from this past weeks rainfall. We have at the very least 10+ inches by now and it is still coming. There are even some schools around here canceling because of flooding and Manson is one of them. Crazy. We are thankful though, no water in our basement. The storm drains seem to be keeping up with the rain. That is how it came up in our basement a few years ago, it came up through our drains. A lot of other places have it a lot worse and I hope for them the rain will end soon.

Wow, guys, you are really growing fast. Next thing you know, I will be coming to your high school football and basketball games!! Okay, I'll slow down, don't want you guys to grow any faster than you are. You are both such nice young men and that will take you a long way in life. Keep up the good work. I am very proud of you!!
Love,
Aunt Dawn
