Jordan's DARE Graduation

Here are some pictures from Jordan's DARE graduation. Every year the fifth grade class has our chief of police come and teach them about the dangers of drugs and alcohol (violence is added into it too now). Once they complete the education they get to have a graduation to show they are aware of the harmful effects of drugs and alcohol. Out of 40 kids in his class, the teachers, chief of police, and the four mentors get to pick the best essays (what DARE taught them) and Jordan's was one of the four they picked. He did such an incredible job and even got to read his essay at the graduation. The winners also received medals and a big Darren (the stuffed mascot of DARE). We were very proud of him.
