Zach's Spring Concert

Zach is in the yellow and dark blue striped shirt.

Hi all. Here are some pictures from Zach's spring concert that he had at the beginning of the month. It was a really good concert full of fun and smiles. I just love to watch the littlest ones sing. Sometimes you just don't know what they are going to do to make you smile. Our music teacher always picks the funnest songs that the kids just love to sing. And she always picks songs that they have to learn the sign language to. This year Zach got to play the harpsicord (sp.), one of six from his class, and he got to do a folk dance, they also got to sing two other songs besides this.

This concert was also the last elementary concert for our music teacher, she is retiring. Actually both her and her husband are retiring. Her husband teaches math at the middle school, he was Jordan's teacher this year. They are both going to be greatly missed because there are loving, kind, and caring teachers. And we all wish them well because they found out recently that his cancer came back. It isn't going too well for him now, but we all pray that he will recover and have a happy retirement.

Random Photos

Zach sharing a photo with me.
I love this picture of Noah.
Riley's most loved toy, her bike.
Shaggy, but he has since had a haircut, he is really pretty cute like this.
My goofball, not sure he knows how to smile normal.
Always a great picture from Zachy.

Back towards the end of April, we had some nice days there that we all got outside and enjoyed the weather. I believe it was the first time I had taken my camera outside since the winter and so I was due some great outdoor pictures. You can tell it had to be pretty decent out since the boys are in sleeveless shirts and Riley in a tank top. I was also able to get some pictures of Noah. And he is just like my kids, loves the outside.

Just wanted to post a few pictures here for you, and I have some more events coming up to post about like spring concerts, Riley's dance recital, Riley trying to ride a two wheeler and some more random pictures.

Soccer Season. Wow, It's Almost Over!

Zach playing goalie and catching the kick. Awesome.
Zach trying to kick the ball out of there as hard as he can.
Zach toe to toe with his opponent.
Corner goal kick for Zach, best on the team at it, at least I think so. :)
Jordan doing a sliding kick, best way to get ball from opponent and change it's direction.
Jordan playing defender and keeping ball away from the goal.
Jordan doing a corner goal kick. He and Zach love this kick.
Another corner goal kick for Jordan.
Wow. Where has the time gone? I can't believe that Jordan and Zach play their last game this Saturday. I think sometimes when you run the program it just zooms by because there is a lot of work to do and you don't realize how much of your time is taken up until it is all gone. I won't miss it when it is over, but I know Curt will. He loves being active and being involved. I just get too stressed out sometimes because it can never be simple, someone is always wanting to change game times or days and don't even get me started on the HS team. That is a mess and such a bummer for the kids when other teams just aren't coordinated well enough to get some game time for our players. But, on the happy side, we are told quite often how well the program is run and we are very pleased to hear people say that. In the end it makes it all worth it if the kids and parents enjoy it.
Both the boys are doing great this year; they are continuously improving their game every week. They are both just smart players and use their head when they play. They both love playing defender the best (the famous corner goal kick they love so much is on the defensive side of the ball) and they are also starting to like midfielder more. That position requires a lot of running because you cover the whole field. But I will tell you, winter swim has helped them take a liking to that position more because it kept them in shape.
It has been a fun season but I guess it will be time soon enough to move on to baseball and swimming. The fun never stops!!!

Last of the Easter Pictures, I Promise :)

OK. This is the last installment of Easter pictures, I just took so many that I wanted to share a lot of them with you. I may have to start posting more than once a week because I have tons of new pictures to share with you now. Since it has been so nice out, I tend to take my camera out more and capture all the little things that make life fun. I have soccer pictures, riding bikes pictures, concert pictures, Riley trying to ride with out training wheels pictures, even some cute Noah pictures. I promise I will get to all of these soon. Until then, I hope you enjoy the last of the Easter pictures and that you all have a great week.
